All events are at 74 Dee Street unless otherwise mentioned. If you wish to attend a communal meal, please contact us in advance. Sometimes we have additional Friday night services organised at short notice; please contact the shul if you'd like to attend such a service.

High Holiday Services 5769

High Holiday services will be led by Eli Kohn (who led them last year). In addition, Sarah Bronzite is planning to run parallel children's sessions during some of the services.

29 September (Monday) 7:30 pm: Rosh Hashanah evening service followed by tea, coffee and cake in the succah.

30 September (Tuesday) 10:00 am: Rosh Hashanah Morning Service. 7:30 pm: Rosh Hashanah evening service followed by tea, coffee and cake in the succah.

1 October (Wednesday) 10:00 am: Rosh Hashanah Morning Service, Second Day

3 October (Friday) 6:00 pm: Friday Night Eve of Shabbat Service

4 October (Saturday) 10:00 am: Shabbat Morning Service

8 October (Wednesday) 7:30 pm : Kol Nidre (Yom Kippur Evening Service). Fast begins in Aberdeen at 6:13 pm.

9 October (Thursday) 9:30 am : Yom Kippur Morning Service. 12:00 noon : Yizkor Memorial Service. 5:00 pm: Minchah. 6:45 pm: Concluding Service. Fast ends at 7:21 pm.

10 October (Friday) 6:00 pm: Eve of Shabbat Service.

17 October (Friday) 6:00 pm: Eve of Shabbat Service, followed by kiddush in succah.

21 October (Tuesday) 7:30 pm: Simxat Torah Evening Service.

In addition to the above, Sarah will be running children's sessions, each of which will last between 45 minutes and an hour, with a mixture of events going on. Children up to b'nei mitzvah age are welcome, although wee ones under 4 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or carer.
